Wellness vs. Cancer Awareness
Today's question for Anita Moorjani addresses the issue of society's focus on cancer awareness and the fear created by this approach. I ask whether Anita thinks all the awareness campaigns and early screening around cancer is helping reduce cancer or could they actually be contributing to an increase in incidence of cancer.
Watch this short video to hear Anita's answer and leave your comments below.
As many of you know, Anita's own story inculdes being very fearful of cancer and she now feels that this fear was a big contributor to her own cancer diagnosis.
The next question I ask Anita is how she would do things differently if she was in charge of eliminating cancer worldwide.
Until next time, be and love your true self,
Jackie

As I go through treatments, I often wonder what the result would be if someone kept track, for 24 hours, of all media, and counted how many times the word 'cancer' was said, and how many times the word 'happy' was said. 1 happy to 10 000 cancer, maybe? Yes, put money into more happy and wellness, less fear and cancer.
Love and appreciate your sharing your story, Anita. I've had some curious experiences in my life, and your experience was an affirmation for me, as well as uplifting and inspiring.
Cheers to More Happies!
Janet
