I recently wrote a chapter in a book called Power to Change.  It includes my chapter - 5 P's to Making Life Enhancing Changes as well as chapters from 18 other experts in various modalities of creating change.

Dying to Heal – Anita Moorjani’s Unusual Cancer Treatment for Stage 4 Lymphoma 

Part 1 of a 2-Part Series Do you believe someone can heal from stage 4 cancer in a matter of days? I was skeptical too. I interviewed Anita Moorjani last fall and learned that while in a coma, Anita had a near-death experience (NDE) that awakened her to a new view of life and of herself, thus facilitating a miraculous recovery from stage 4 lymphoma. After the interview, the questions ‘how could she recover so quickly?’ and 'what can we learn from this?' kept running through my head. My rational mind needed an explanation. In these articles I explore possible explanations for her unbelievably rapid recovery, including how Anita explains the miracle of her healing.

Live Fearlessly - Anita Moorjani's Recovery from Stage 4 Lymphoma

I recently interviewed Anita Moorjani and she shared this message from her father: "Go back and live your life fearlessley". This message helped her decide to come back into her body after a near-death experience. Just prior to this experience, she had gone into a coma and her organs were shutting down due to her stage 4 lymphoma that had spread throughout her body.  In the video, she talks about the importance of living authentically, being our true self.  She feels that she got her cancer because of her fears and her loss of identity.  Before her cancer she was living her life to please others. Her advice is to start by loving ourselves unconditionally.  She stresses the importance of following our emotions and doing what makes us feel good - not what makes us be liked by others. Her final message in the interview is: "Be yourself - who you are is absolutely magnificance!"

Manifest your Desires - Wayne Dyer's 5 Step Approach

I recently attended the Wayne Dyer event in Montreal and I’d like to share with you his approach in terms of manifesting what we want in our lives.  This approach has worked wonders for me!  Here are the 5 steps Dr. Dyer suggests:

1.     Imagine what you want to have or be or how you want to feel.  Use all your senses and really put yourself there in your mind’s eye.

2.     Live from the end, as if you already had what you want in your life.  Act in ways you would act if you already had it in your life.

3.     Assume the feeling of the wish or desire fulfilled.  Let yourself really feel the joy, the excitement or the confidence of manifesting your desire. Feel it often, keep reminding yourself to bring these feelings into your energy field.

4.     Pay attention to the signs from the universe.  Trust that you are already connected to that which you desire and pay attention to messages from the universe; coincidences, serendipitous events, messages and guidance.

5.     Remind yourself of your own magnificence.  Do this every night for the last 5 minutes before you fall asleep.  Make your own affirmations; I am…. healthy, I am strong, pure love etc.. Let your subconscious work on these positive messages as you sleep.

I have used these steps in the past to give me more energy; next time I’ll share my story!  In the meantime - what do you want to attract in your life?  Whatever it is, large or small, I invite you to imagine it, live it, feel it, trust and affirm it!
